Yuri Khadka, ‘24, decided to go to law school because she believes that if you would like to make any changes in society, law is the best place to start.

Khadka is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, but moved to the U.S. when she was 14 years old. As an immigrant, Khadka was interested to learn more about immigration law during her time in law school. Khadka got first-hand experience working with clients through McGeorge School of Law’s Immigration Law Clinic.

During Khadka’s time at McGeorge, she has been involved in the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Disability Alliance Law Students Association. These student organizations have been important to Khadka because they introduced her to different attorneys, types of laws, and career paths.
